Internet Church

There is a growing trend with people leaving their local church and joining live internet churches.  There are many reasons or theories for this migration away from traditional church into the I Church model.  With the rise of sites like Facebook, Youtube, and Myspace, many individuals are finding that the local church just does not satisfy their desire.  Many churches are trying to compete with the world in a move towards more socially acceptable and crowd pleasing messages and environments.  Is this the answer?

The only real way to make a difference is through the Word of God.  It is impossible for churches to adequately compete and win agaisnt the world if they use the world’s weapons.  Our weapons are not carnal but spiritual and the Word is the sword of the Spirit.  The most effective way for the church to reach the world is through the transformational power of biblical wisdom and understanding.  The Word is the only way and we will be fighting a losing battle if we try to use anything else.  We are at war for the souls of man and God, through his word, is the only way we will win.
